On September 26th, Mr. Niu, Ma Weihua, and Dean of CGPI and President of BNU China Philanthropy Research Institute Wang Zhenyao attended the opening ceremony of the Second Sino-French Cultural Forum and the Art Exhibition of artist Li Xin. They had a in-depth communication with Raffarin, former French Prime Minister and Chairman of the Foundation of Prospective and Innovation about the promotion of Sino-French cultural exchange projects afterward. In the afternoon session “Museum Management: Operation and Funding of Cultural Projects”, Mr. Niu, Wang Zhenyao, and the principals of famous French museums like Rodin Art Museum and Lyon Museum of Fine Arts had discussions about “significance and role of museums”, “partnerships between museum and government”, and “cooperation expansion between private sectors and museum”. Mr. Niu believes that all China’s philanthropic sectors, especially the non-profit museums for children, requires mobilization of more social resources, strengthens the development of peripheral products of museums for children, and completes self-hematopoietic operation through consulting research and projects to further achieve sustainable development.
